Flights
HERE AFICA can arrange all domestic and regional flights for this South Africa safari. You’ll need a domestic flight between Cape Town and Johannesburg which is not included in the price. Please enquire with our reservations office.
Transport
Airport transfers are usually conducted in sedan vehicles or minibuses. The game drives will take place in open 4×4 vehicles.
Visas
The onus is on the client to organize all visas required to visit South Africa on the Cape Town and Kruger Experience.
Travel Insurance
Please note that travel and cancellation insurance is mandatory for every guest travelling with HERE AFRICA . All insurance is solely the responsibility of our guests. Please ensure you arrange your own insurance with protection for the full duration of your journey to cover personal injury, damage and loss of personal items including but not limited to camera equipment and other electronic items, medical expenses, repatriation expenses and loss of luggage, etc. Please speak to your travel agent if you require assistance.
Day 1 -Arrive in CAPE TOWN
On arrival at Cape Town International Airport you will be met by a representative from Jenman African Safaris, who will transfer you to your hotel. You have the remainder of the day at leisure to acclimatize and relax at the hotel..
Day 2 - Cape town
In the morning you will be collected and taken on an orientation tour of the city. You will see the Company Gardens, Greenmarket Square, the SA Museum and Bo-Kaap. The afternoon can be spent at leisure. We suggest a visit to the V&A Waterfront, situated in the heart of Cape Town’s harbor, offering a lively atmosphere of indoor shopping, restaurants, and entertainment.
Day 3 - Cape Peninsula tour
The day is spent exploring the Cape Peninsula and visiting Hout Bay on the Atlantic coast before heading off to Cape Point for lunch. In the afternoon we head back via the Boulders Beach penguin colony.
Day4- Greater Kruger national park
In the morning you will be transferred to Cape Town International Airport. After your flight CPT/JNB (not included in the cost) from OR Tambo Airport, you will be transferred to Hoedspruit, and then to your lodge in the Greater Kruger National Park area. Conservation and community tourism projects provide meaningful experiences, and on this day, a visit to Nourish Eco Village will demonstrate how such projects support education and livelihoods of the neighboring local community. Proceeds from the project support 6 households, as well as contribute towards the village daycare. Led by a local guide, you will learn about the Shangaan ways, habits, crafts and arts, and taste the local food and traditional beer. In the evening you will take a sunset game drive on the private concession, followed by dinner.
